Hendrik (Hank) Keesmaat has practiced law predominantly in the areas of civil litigation, family law and administrative law since his call to the Bar with Honours in 1972. He is winding down his practice and will be operating as a sole proprietor under Keesmaat Law in January 2017.
Hank has been involved in family, corporate commercial, personal injury, estate and oppression remedy litigation. Hank has appeared in all civil courts in Ontario including the Superior Court, Divisional Court and Court of Appeal of Ontario. He is currently a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and Hamilton Law Association.
Hank obtained a B.A. from McMaster University in 1967 and his LL.B. degree from the Law Society of Upper Canada through Osgoode Hall in 1970.
John Kranjc has moved his practice to ESB Lawyers LLP.
John was part of Keesmaat Partners LLP and predecessor firms for over thirty years, however, due to the pending retirement of his partners, John has elected to continue his litigation practice, which focuses on civil and commercial litigation, with ESB Lawyers LLP.
Yolanta is winding down her practice after a long and successful career.
She has practiced law since being called to the Bar in 1979, primarily in the Hamilton area. She has had extensive experience in matrimonial law assisting clients in resolving disputes through negotiations and using Collaborative Law. She has also had extensive matrimonial litigation experience at both the trial and appellate levels. She will continue to serve as a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Superior Court of Justice (Family Court) in Hamilton after January 1, 2017.
